Islamabad: (RightNow) The death toll from ongoing rains and floods in Pakistan has reached 166. Severe monsoon rains have paralyzed life in various cities.

Heavy rains have caused landslides and floods, resulting in significant destruction. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), 500 people have been injured.

The NDMA reports that since the monsoon season began on June 26, hundreds of houses have been damaged. Dozens of livestock have also perished.
