Taxila: (RightNow) Police have arrested 5 suspects, including the father and brother, in the murder of TikToker Shamsu Bibi, also known as Ayesha Gulamna. The arrests were made using CCTV footage and human intelligence.

SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehmood stated that the suspects attempted to stage a drama after the murder. Based on evidence, all five suspects have been apprehended.

Initial investigations reveal that Shamsu Bibi was killed in the name of honor. The father, who has confessed to the murder, was made the complainant in the case.

According to police, the family disapproved of the victim’s presence on social media. The complainant has now become a suspect, and further investigations are ongoing.

It is noteworthy that police are conducting further interrogations with the arrested suspects to uncover additional motives and details of the murder.
