Skardu: (RightNow) In Skardu’s Madina Colony, a couple and their two children were brutally murdered in an honor killing. The victims include 35-year-old Aslam, his 30-year-old wife Hania, and their two children aged five and two and a half.
According to police, the couple had a court marriage seven years ago. Aslam was from Rondu, while Hania hailed from Parachinar, leading to suspicions of an honor killing.
The husband’s family has accused the in-laws of the murder. Police have initiated an investigation and stated that the true facts will emerge after the inquiry.
This incident has caused fear and panic in the area. Police have set up checkpoints at the city’s entry and exit points and are gathering evidence.
