Karachi: (RightNow) Senior PPP leader Manzoor Wasan predicts challenging times for Imran Khan in the current political climate. He stated that PTI’s founder’s support for new provinces was unexpected.

Wasan emphasized that Sindh has its own history and identity, which cannot be merged with other provinces. The Sindh Assembly has rejected the proposal for new provinces.

He mentioned that the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is from PPP, but the decision for governor rule was made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Wasan noted that JUI’s protest movement is not visible yet, suggesting they would have protested by now if they intended to.

It is noteworthy that the federal government has previously faced accusations of disinterest in the issues of Sindh and other provinces.
