Istanbul: (RightNow) Renowned Turkish actor Serhat Mustafa Kilic was found dead at his home. He was famous for his role as Mikhail Kosses in the Turkish drama series Kurulus Osman.

The actor was discovered deceased in his apartment in the Kagithane district of Istanbul on September 5 by a friend. Kilic was 51 years old and was found motionless on a chair.

A friend named Ozlem E reported that she had been trying to contact Serhat since September 3. Upon failing to reach him, she visited his home and alerted emergency services when she found him not breathing.

Medical teams confirmed the actor’s death upon arrival. Police have initiated an investigation. Initial examinations show no signs of physical assault.

It is noteworthy that Serhat Mustafa Kilic was born in 1975 and began his career in theater in 1998. The film Kucuk Kiyamet won an award at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014, and he had worked in various TV series.
