Dhaka: (RightNow) Bangladesh has expressed the possibility of joining the Pakistan-Turkey-Saudi defense pact. Humayun Kabir, an advisor to Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the country may consider joining the economic or defense framework.

According to Humayun Kabir, the final decision will be made considering national interests, the global economy, and changing trade dynamics. The Bangladeshi government is deeply evaluating this matter.

He mentioned that efforts are ongoing to strengthen routine diplomatic activities with Pakistan. Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Tariq Rahman is also set to visit Saudi Arabia soon.

This move could impact the current regional situation and international relations. Experts believe Bangladesh’s inclusion could enhance the pact’s significance.
