Karachi: (RightNow) Investigation flaws have emerged in the cases against drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky. The Deputy District Prosecutor has returned the interim challans of three cases presented by Darakhshan Police with objections.

The three cases against Anmol alias Pinky were registered in 2021, where she was declared a fugitive. Each case had a co-accused, who have since been acquitted.

The state attorney stated that the interim challans did not mention Anmol alias Pinky’s fugitive status or the acquittal of co-accused. Darakhshan Police have been instructed to rectify these flaws and resubmit the challans.

This issue is significant as flawed investigations can delay legal proceedings. It may affect the rights of the involved parties.

It is noteworthy that Anmol alias Pinky is accused of drug dealing and has been wanted in several cases before. Investigation flaws by the police could complicate the matter in court.
