Under Maryam Nawaz’s leadership, Punjab aims to lead in AI in South Asia by 2029, with planning underway.
Lahore: (RightNow) Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has set a target to make Punjab the leader in artificial intelligence in South Asia by 2029. She stated that comprehensive planning is underway to achieve this goal.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with provincial advisor Ali Mustafa Dar. During the meeting, they discussed the formal launch of Punjab AI Vision 2029. Ali Dar briefed on the performance of the AI office.
Information was shared about the world’s first AI-enabled delivery unit in Punjab. A boarding program has been prepared with the cooperation of global experts for this unit.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was briefed on the six foundational pillars of AI Vision 2029. She also discussed the CMAI Stock Take Program to review ongoing progress on AI Vision 2029.
It is noteworthy that Punjab’s AI Vision 2029 is a significant step in Pakistan’s tech industry. It is expected to significantly boost the province’s development.
