PM Shehbaz Sharif emphasizes the importance of modern education for youth to prevent Pakistan from lagging in development.
Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warns that without connecting youth to modern education, Pakistan risks falling behind in development. He made this statement while addressing a ceremony on International Youth Day in the federal capital.
The Prime Minister stated that the scope of Daanish Schools is being expanded to other provinces, urging provincial governments to establish similar quality educational institutions. He emphasized that development is impossible without quality education.
Referring to the laptop distribution program, he mentioned facing criticism at the time, but today these laptops are aiding youth in accessing modern education.
Shehbaz Sharif further stated that some viewed laptops merely as machines, but he sees them as a mission. He expressed commitment to continue providing youth with opportunities in modern technology and education.
It is noteworthy that during his tenure, the Prime Minister initiated the laptop distribution program in Punjab, aimed at connecting youth with modern education and providing quality educational opportunities.
