Washington: (RightNow) The U.S. Department of Defense has confirmed that 153 civilians were killed in American airstrikes in Yemen last year. These strikes targeted Houthi forces.

According to the report, 243 individuals were also injured in these attacks. The 12-page Pentagon report states that these casualties resulted from three specific incidents in April 2025.

The Pentagon reported that the incidents included strikes near Sana’a, Ras Isa port, and close to Saada. A total of 132 people were killed in these attacks.

This loss not only represents a tragic loss of human life but could also impact regional stability. The strikes may further escalate tensions in Yemen.

It is noteworthy that U.S. military operations against the Houthis continue, with 15 more incidents under review.
