Nizhnekamsk: (RightNow) Ukraine has launched fresh drone attacks in Russia’s Tatarstan region. At least 12 people have been killed and several injured in these attacks.

According to Russian state media, the attacks targeted civilian and industrial sites. A major oil refinery in the region has also been affected.

The city’s mayor, Radmir Belyaev, stated that unspecified targets were hit in the attack. Russia’s advanced technology oil refinery has suffered damage.

Unverified videos on social media show smoke rising from the refinery. Reuters has not confirmed these footages.

It is noteworthy that in June, Ukraine also targeted the Taneco refinery, which had a production capacity of 17 million tons of crude oil.
