Karachi: (RightNow) The medical board for the exhumation of young businessman Mir Raza in Karachi has been revised. The board has been reduced from 8 to 5 members, with all members except Dr. Samia Syed replaced.

The new board includes Professor Dr. Zakiuddin, Dr. Qazi Akbar, and Dr. Abid Hussain Chang. Dr. Zakiuddin is the head of forensic medicine at Dow University.

Police Surgeon Karachi Dr. Samia Syed is the board’s convener. Police Surgeon Hyderabad Dr. Waseem is also part of the new board. The parents have rejected the changes in the board.

The case has gained significance due to serious flaws identified in Mir Raza’s postmortem report, raising new questions in the case.

It is noteworthy that Mir Raza’s second postmortem is scheduled for today by court order, which may reveal further facts.
