Karachi: (RightNow) In Qayyumabad, the father and local residents demand the death penalty for the alleged abuser of 1.5-year-old Ezal Ali. The suspect has already been arrested by the police.

Ezal’s father, Rana Ali, stated that the suspect often took his daughter out to buy things. On the day of the incident, the suspect took the child and returned her home in a weakened state after 20 minutes.

As Ezal’s condition worsened, she was given medication, but her health deteriorated further, leading to vomiting. She was rushed to Jinnah Hospital but passed away on the way. The suspect has been handed over to the police.

The father has appealed for justice, urging action against any accomplices. Qayyumabad residents have called on the Chief Minister and IG Sindh to ensure the suspect receives the death penalty.

It is noteworthy that a murder case has been registered on the father’s complaint. Police state that the post-mortem report will determine the cause of death and confirm the assault, with investigations ongoing.
