Ankara: (RightNow) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemns Israeli military actions in Lebanon as severe crimes against humanity. He states that support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and stability will continue.

President Erdogan, after meeting with Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun, highlights the significance of the visit, marking the first by a Lebanese president to Turkey in 17 years. He praises Lebanese leadership’s efforts for peace and stability.

Erdogan mentions discussions on Israeli occupation in southern Lebanon and the Middle East situation. He emphasizes that peace in the region will benefit Lebanon the most.

The Turkish President assures continued support for enhancing Lebanese institutions, humanitarian aid, and rebuilding war-affected areas. He welcomes the growing ties between Lebanon and Syria.

It is noteworthy that Lebanon has long been affected by regional conflicts. President Erdogan expresses condolences to the Lebanese people and reiterates Turkey’s condemnation of Israeli attacks.
