Punjab introduces portable X-ray service for wildlife, enhancing medical diagnosis quality.
Lahore: (RightNow) Punjab has introduced a portable X-ray service for wildlife treatment for the first time. This initiative by the Punjab Wildlife and Parks Department marks a significant advancement in the healthcare of wild animals.
The team from the modern wildlife hospital at Safari Zoo Lahore visited the Lahore Zoo. Various wild animals were examined, and modern portable X-rays were conducted, enabling immediate medical diagnosis for the animals.
Officials state that detailed examinations of fallow deer and pythons were conducted on-site using portable X-rays. This eliminates the need to transfer animals to veterinary hospitals for X-rays.
The new facility allows for faster, less stressful, and safer medical diagnosis of wild animals. It also enhances the quality of veterinary care in wildlife.
It is noteworthy that the protection and healthcare of wildlife have always been important. This new facility will further improve wildlife management.
