A Ryanair flight’s window broke mid-flight, endangering a passenger, saved by his wife’s quick action.
Thessaloniki: (RightNow) A Ryanair flight from Greece to Germany faced a terrifying incident when a passenger was endangered as the plane’s window broke mid-flight.
The 61-year-old passenger, Jobisa Karovic, reported that the broken window caused strong winds to pull him outward. His wife acted quickly, grabbing his legs to prevent him from being sucked out.
Due to the cabin pressure drop, oxygen masks deployed, and other passengers helped pull Jobisa back into the cabin.
Jobisa Karovic stated that he is mentally affected by the incident and cannot consider flying again soon.
It is noteworthy that initial investigations suggest an engine part struck the window, but the exact cause remains undetermined.
