Colombia: (RightNow) A 7.4 magnitude earthquake has caused widespread destruction in western Colombia. The earthquake resulted in 132 deaths and 570 injuries.

Colombian authorities reported that severe tremors caused buildings to collapse in several cities. Rescue workers are actively engaged in search and rescue operations.

A total of 32 cities have been severely affected by the earthquake, and flights at several airports have been temporarily suspended.

According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake’s epicenter was in the Choco province, with a depth of 107 kilometers.

It is important to note that the President has declared a state of emergency to provide immediate aid to the affected populations.
