Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Meta have signed an agreement to promote online safety for youth. Under this agreement, both organizations will collaborate to enhance protection and capacity in online content.
The agreement includes joint initiatives by PTA and Meta to improve online safety and digital well-being for youth. This involves capacity building, policy dialogues, and awareness campaigns.
PTA and Meta will work together to create a safe and trustworthy digital environment for users. PTA Chairman Hafeez ur Rehman has termed the agreement significant.
He stated that this partnership will encourage responsible online behavior among children and youth and help strengthen digital safety.
