New Delhi: (RightNow) In India, Congress protested outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence against paper leaks. During the protest, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and several leaders were arrested.
Congress workers demonstrated over the leakage of exam papers. Protesters marched towards the Prime Minister’s residence, where police stopped them from advancing.
Police arrested Rahul Gandhi near the Prime Minister’s residence. Despite resistance, he was taken away in a bus to an undisclosed location.
Priyanka Gandhi and several other workers were also detained. Protesters demanded the resignation of the Education Minister.
It is noteworthy that protests have been ongoing nationwide since May due to leaked medical entrance exam papers, revealing corruption in the education system.
