The federal government raises petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan, effective July 22.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The federal government has increased the prices of petroleum products. According to the Ministry of Energy’s notification, the new prices will be effective from July 22.
The notification states that the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 4.93 per liter. After this increase, the new price is Rs 320.73 per liter.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been increased by Rs 7.15 per liter. The new price is set at Rs 367.21 per liter.
The government has stated that these prices are under the revised petroleum pricing mechanism. OGRA issued the new ex-depot prices notification after federal government approval.
It is important to note that the new prices will be applicable from July 22, 2026, and petrol and high-speed diesel will be sold at new prices nationwide.
