Riyadh: (RightNow) Saudi Arabia has introduced a one-year multiple entry Umrah visa for pilgrims. This visa allows visitors to enter Saudi Arabia multiple times within 365 days, but the total stay is limited to 90 days.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, pilgrims must purchase an approved service package on the Nusuk platform before each trip. Obtaining an Umrah permit via the Nusuk app is also mandatory.

The ministry stated that the visa will be deactivated after each departure from Saudi Arabia. It will be reactivated for future trips upon meeting the necessary conditions.

This visa is not valid from the 1st of Dhu al-Qi’dah to the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah, during the Hajj season. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah clarified this to prevent any issues for pilgrims.

It is noteworthy that this initiative aims to accommodate the increasing number of Umrah pilgrims and enhance service provision. The Saudi government’s goal is to offer better services to pilgrims.
