California: (Right Now News) Four astronauts from the Artemis II mission have safely landed in the Pacific Ocean after spending nearly ten days in space. NASA named this mission ‘Integrity’, marking the first human journey near the Moon in fifty years.

The Orion spacecraft successfully landed in the Pacific Ocean near the California coast. According to NASA, the astronauts were safe and in satisfactory condition at the time of landing.

During this mission, the astronauts traveled approximately 252,000 miles from Earth. The total journey covered 700,000 miles, including two orbits around Earth and passing close to the Moon.

Upon re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere, the capsule’s speed was 33 times the speed of sound. After slowing down, parachutes deployed, and the capsule gently descended into the ocean.

It is noteworthy that the Artemis program aims to land humans on the Moon again in the coming years, with plans set for 2028. The long-term goal is to send a human mission to Mars.
