Washington: (RightNow) According to NASA, a total solar eclipse will occur on August 12, visible after two years. This rare event will be seen in only a few countries worldwide.

NASA reports that the total solar eclipse will be visible in Greenland, Iceland, northern Spain, and a corner of Portugal. In Spain, the eclipse will occur at sunset, which astronomers have described as ‘enchanting.’

A partial solar eclipse will be visible in most European countries and some regions of North Africa. In Russia, the eclipse can be seen at both sunrise and sunset, making it unique.

Experts state that an eclipse occurring at sunset is a rare phenomenon, seen after many years. This eclipse is significant due to this characteristic.

It is noteworthy that according to Pakistani time, the partial solar eclipse will begin at 10:34 PM on August 12, reach its peak at 12:12 AM, and conclude at 2:58 AM.
