Islamabad: (RightNow). Opposition leader Mahmood Achakzai criticizes the government, accusing it of resorting to insults when confronted. He questions Hanif Abbasi’s visit to Kaaba and demands a committee to investigate corruption.

Achakzai emphasizes the need to strengthen parliament as a source of power. Addressing Khawaja Asif and the People’s Party, he insists on empowering parliament to honor public votes.

Commenting on the economic situation, Achakzai states that a laborer’s income of 15,000 to 20,000 rupees is insufficient. He highlights that 6 crore children are out of school, indicating the country’s dire state.

Discussing relations with Afghanistan, he recalls past friendship and suggests resolving issues through dialogue. He refers to the Taliban as a national asset.

It is noteworthy that Achakzai advises the government to understand the situation in Iran and restore confidence in parliament. Citing Pharaoh, he warns that misuse of power leads to failure.
