President and Prime Minister to hold crucial talks on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s political future today.
Islamabad: (RightNow) President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will discuss the future of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today. The meeting is expected at 4 PM at the Presidential House.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will brief the President on key decisions. Discussions will also cover the political and protest situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi will provide a briefing during the meeting, while senior government and Pakistan People’s Party leaders and legal experts will participate.
The importance of this consultation lies in the potential changes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s politics. Negotiating teams from the government and the People’s Party will also be present.
