Tehran: (RightNow) Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has departed for New York to attend the UN General Assembly. He is determined to present Iran’s stance effectively.

President Pezeshkian stated that he will inform the world about the challenges faced by the Iranian people and the crimes of adversaries. He emphasized that the General Assembly is a crucial opportunity to convey Iran’s message to the global community.

Upon arrival in New York, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi remarked that Iran remains in a state of conflict, and the situation persists. He accused Western countries of remaining silent on issues concerning Palestine, Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.

Abbas Araghchi asserted that the United Nations has failed to maintain global peace, leading to a loss of trust. He stressed that the UN’s reform is essential.

It is noteworthy that President Masoud Pezeshkian will meet with several world leaders besides addressing the General Assembly. He will also give interviews to various media outlets in New York to defend the rights and stance of the Iranian people.
