Islamabad: (RightNow). Pakistan has achieved a 64% reduction in illegal immigration. The International Centre for Migration Policy Development and the European Union’s Border and Coast Guard Agency have praised Pakistan’s efforts.

In a meeting with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, both organizations decided to enhance mutual cooperation to prevent illegal immigration. Mohsin Naqvi stated that it was a challenging task.

Mohsin Naqvi mentioned that despite limited resources, this success was achieved. His next goal is a 100% reduction in illegal immigration.

Modern technology and officer training are needed to prevent illegal immigration. Focus is also being placed on effective border management.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan’s efforts have been praised by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development. The FIA’s risk analysis report has also been commended.
