Islamabad: (RightNow) Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry announced the arrest of a man named Zia, who was supplying weapons to various groups in Pakistan. Zia was captured during intelligence-based operations.
Approximately 200 intelligence-based operations occur daily in Pakistan. The suspect, Zia, has been illegally supplying weapons for 10 years. He is reportedly linked to the banned organization JAC.
The Minister further stated that smuggling networks from Afghanistan to Pakistan are being supported. Zia was in contact with a person named Zarshar in Afghanistan, who supplies weapons to Pakistan.
