San Francisco: (RightNow) Over 100 people gathered at Ocean Beach in San Francisco to scream loudly at the Pacific Ocean. This unique event was organized by local resident Daniel Egan.

Daniel Egan stated that he felt the need to scream himself, so he invited others to join. The event was named ‘Guttural Scream at the Sea.’

The reasons for screaming included rising rent and frustrations with artificial intelligence. Participants said that screaming made them feel better.

Before the collective scream, a screaming contest was held, judged on volume and duration. Olivia Guglielmotto’s scream was recorded at 121.9 decibels.

It should be noted that Olivia’s scream was slightly below the world record, but she was awarded a small megaphone. She stated that her scream was for the world.
