Lahore: (RightNow) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi states Maryam Nawaz faces threats from other provinces, while he feels no threat from Punjab’s people.

Speaking to party workers at Lahore’s Do Moriya Bridge, Afridi emphasized his connection with Punjab, asserting that Maryam Nawaz has been rejected by its people and that the Chief Minister holds power through fake votes.

Afridi further alleged that Punjab police killed Milad organizer Ishtiaq Ahmed and expressed his refusal to seek security from them.

Chief Minister Afridi visited the home of deceased worker Ishtiaq Ahmed to offer condolences. Prior to his arrival, police reached Chamra Mandi and closed nearby shops.

It is noteworthy that the district administration has announced the enforcement of Section 144.
