England Cricket Board delegation in Pakistan to review security for upcoming Tri-Series.
Lahore: (RightNow) A delegation from the England Cricket Board has arrived in Pakistan to review preparations for the Tri-Nation ODI Series, featuring teams from Pakistan, England, and Sri Lanka.
According to sources, the visit is routine. The delegation will meet with security officials in Lahore and Rawalpindi to assess arrangements. After completing the Lahore visit, the delegation will proceed to Rawalpindi.
The Tri-Series will commence on October 18 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, with the first match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Matches between Pakistan and England on October 20, and Sri Lanka and England on October 22 will follow.
After the matches in Rawalpindi, the series will move to Lahore, where Pakistan will face England on October 25, Pakistan will play Sri Lanka on October 27, and Sri Lanka will compete against England on October 29.
It is noteworthy that the series final will be held on October 31 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, where the top two teams will compete.
