Lahore: (RightNow) Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, instructed Punjab Police officers at Kallar Kahar rest area to withdraw. Addressing the security personnel, he questioned if they had any duties other than monitoring PTI.

A police officer responded that they were there for his protection. Afridi replied that his safety was in God’s hands, implying he could die today or tomorrow if it were up to them.

The Chief Minister further stated that police officers were not allowing any public vehicles to stop. He mentioned that their presence was causing inconvenience to the public.

Afridi also instructed the protocol officers present to leave, stating that unnecessary protocol was not needed.

It is noteworthy that this incident occurred in Kallar Kahar, where the Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction with the security arrangements.
