Karachi: (RightNow) WhatsApp has introduced a new security feature called ‘Restricted Chat’. This feature is available for Android users in the beta version of WhatsApp.

According to Meta, this feature will be part of advanced chat privacy controls. It will help users impose additional restrictions on participants in a chat.

The Restricted Chat feature provides users with enhanced security. Sensitive conversations will remain limited to the main phone and won’t be visible on WhatsApp Web or connected phones.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature is not yet available to all beta users. Users will need to enable it themselves.
