Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of prolonged power outages in various regions of the country. He has issued immediate instructions to ensure no area experiences more than 2 hours of load shedding.

A meeting on power load management was chaired by the Prime Minister, where Shehbaz Sharif expressed dissatisfaction over the increasing power outages. He directed officials to limit load shedding to a maximum of 2 hours in any area.

The meeting revealed that tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and transmission issues have affected the supply of RLNG (Liquefied Natural Gas). Load management has become essential to balance demand and supply.

The Prime Minister instructed immediate measures to resolve the disruption in RLNG supply. He emphasized making every effort to stabilize electricity supply.

It is noteworthy that power outages have long been a source of difficulty for the public in Pakistan. The government has taken various steps to address this issue, but it has not been completely resolved yet.
