Karachi: (RightNow) Forensic experts have identified serious errors from the crime scene to the post-mortem in the Mir Reza case. The loss of crucial evidence is affecting the investigation.

According to forensic experts, Mir Reza’s body was moved from the crime scene in violation of SOPs. The scene was not cordoned off, and gloves were not used.

Experts stated that the crime scene unit should have secured the location. The body should not have been moved immediately, and photography and videography should have been conducted.

These errors could lead to the loss of potential evidence, affecting the legal standing of the case. Bupivacaine traces were also found in Mir Reza’s blood.

It is noteworthy that in the first and second post-mortems of the Mir Reza case, nail samples were not taken. These could have been crucial if there was a possibility of resistance or physical confrontation.
