Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has provided 50 electric vehicles to the Islamabad police. He stated at the ceremony that the protection of citizens’ lives and property is the government’s top priority.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Islamabad police should serve as a role model for other cities in the country. The police are being equipped with modern technology and equipment.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Inspector General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi received the keys. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar also attended the ceremony.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that the aim of the electric vehicles is to promote environmentally friendly policing. These vehicles will provide better services to citizens.

It is noteworthy that the Capital Patrol Force has been provided with 50 vehicles. This initiative will reduce fuel expenses.
