US forces completed strikes on Iran’s military targets, facing threats of severe retaliation from Iran.
Washington: (RightNow) The US Central Command announced that US forces completed a new phase of strikes on Iran’s military targets on September 1. These strikes targeted the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s air defense centers and naval installations.
The attacks resulted in the deaths of several individuals in Iran, including a 4-year-old child. According to the Iranian Red Crescent, the US attacked a wedding near the Strait of Hormuz, killing 5 people.
The US military stated that these actions followed recent alleged operations by the Revolutionary Guard. Over 50 thousand US troops are stationed in the Middle East, ready for further actions.
It is clear that Iran has also claimed to retaliate by targeting US installations in Jordan and Iraq. Jordan intercepted 10 out of 13 ballistic missiles, while 3 landed in remote areas.
It should be noted that the US President stated that the US has full control over the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran’s economy is rapidly deteriorating. Iran has threatened further severe retaliation.
