Messi has scored 125 goals in 207 matches for Argentina, making him the country’s most capped player and top scorer. His total goals for club and country amount to 921.

According to government sources, Messi won his first international title in 2021 by securing the Copa America. In 2022, he led his team to victory in the World Cup, making them world champions.

Messi’s career is filled with numerous records and achievements in the world of football. He holds the record for winning the Ballon d’Or award eight times.

It is noteworthy that Messi represented Argentina in six World Cups from 2006 to 2026. Recently, after his father’s passing, he hinted at contemplating his future.
