Birmingham: (RightNow) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made significant changes to the national test squad for the third test against England in Birmingham. Five new players have been included, marking their debut in the test squad.

The PCB announced that after the Lord’s Test, 7 players were released from the squad. These players include Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, and Salman Ali Agha. The new squad features Saeem Ayub and Abdullah Fazal.

Arafat Minhas and Mohammad Imran Junior have also been added to the Birmingham Test squad. Wicketkeeper Saad Baig and all-rounder Razaullah are also included. Changes have been made to the coaching staff as well.

These changes come after Pakistan’s failure in the first two tests against England. Pakistan lost the first two tests, trailing 2-0 in the series. The Birmingham Test is Pakistan’s last chance to avoid a whitewash.

It is noteworthy that the PCB has opted to give opportunities to new and young players by excluding senior players from the squad. These changes aim to improve the team’s performance.
