PCB files complaint against Sky Sports for airing interview with Imran Khan’s sons expressing concerns over his treatment.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially lodged a complaint against Sky Sports. The complaint was made over the broadcast of an interview with Imran Khan’s sons during the second Test at Lord’s.
According to the PCB, the interview featured Imran Khan’s sons expressing concern over the alleged treatment of the former Prime Minister by the government. Imran Khan’s lawyers have described his detention conditions as severe.
Sky Sports has confirmed receiving the complaint but declined to comment on it. The PCB has not disclosed the nature of the complaint.
This issue is significant as Imran Khan has been imprisoned for the past three years, with reports of alleged mistreatment. His sister has also accused authorities of abuse.
It is noteworthy that Imran Khan was recently transferred to a hospital for treatment but was sent back to jail following a Supreme Court decision.
