Lahore: (RightNow) A significant increase in vegetable and fruit prices is observed in Lahore. According to shopkeepers, prices have risen by 100 to 150 rupees per kilogram.

Shopkeepers report that the cost of fruit crates has increased by 1 thousand to 2 thousand rupees. Prices of pumpkin, cauliflower, cabbage, and fenugreek have also risen.

There is a noticeable increase in the prices of bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Shopkeepers claim that prices have also increased in the market.

This rise is causing difficulties for citizens as the prices of daily essentials continue to climb. The government is expected to control the prices.
