Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered immediate actions to reduce fuel prices. He met with Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik to discuss ways to provide public relief.

The meeting was attended by the Information Minister, Economic Affairs Minister, Climate Change Minister, and Hamza Shahbaz. The Prime Minister instructed the Petroleum Minister to visit Karachi promptly for negotiations with oil refineries.

Shahbaz Sharif stated that most diesel is produced in local refineries. He directed the Petroleum Minister to ensure a reduction in local diesel prices.

The Prime Minister emphasized that negotiations with refineries should be completed swiftly to provide immediate relief to the public. The government aims to pass on the benefits of reduced fuel prices to the public promptly.

It is noteworthy that the government has taken various measures for public relief, and reducing fuel prices is part of these efforts.
