The DC Lahore stated that special arrangements will be made to ensure the safety of citizens during Basant. The government has also issued new regulations for kite flying on this occasion.
Strict penalties will be imposed for violations of kite flying rules during Basant. There is a complete ban on metal, nylon, or glass-coated strings, with fines and imprisonment for offenders.
