Karachi: (RightNow). Sindh’s Provincial Minister Saed Ghani states that the ISPR’s role is not to create provinces; this decision belongs to the assemblies. He emphasizes that unity prevails in Sindh, and some anchors are making irresponsible statements.

Saed Ghani further mentions that no new province will be formed in Sindh, and people should not be pushed towards hatred. He dismisses MQM’s desire for a new province, citing their limited numbers.

Discussing the agreement with MQM, he recalls that Karachi was given a separate system, which led to protests, and the PPP withdrew the dual system. People of Sindh oppose the division of the province, and other parties also resist it.

The provincial minister criticizes Jamaat-e-Islami, accusing them of trying to cause public distress. He states that the purpose of protests is to inconvenience people, and Jamaat-e-Islami should act sensibly.

It is noteworthy that discussions on creating new provinces in Sindh have led to disagreements among political parties. MQM and other parties hold different stances on this issue, while PPP has consistently worked to maintain Sindh’s unity.
