Instagram changes its logo to a new text-only design after a decade, announced by Adam Mosseri.
New York: (RightNow) Instagram has changed its logo after a decade. The new logo features a text-only design.
Meta-owned photo-sharing app’s head, Adam Mosseri, introduced the new logo. He stated that the logo is more advanced and modern than before.
He further mentioned that the new logo will maintain the simplicity of the old name. The previous Instagram logo had started to feel outdated.
This change comes after the 2016 update when the classic brown camera design was replaced with a rainbow letter design.
It is noteworthy that Meta has not released an official statement regarding this. Instagram’s logo was last changed in 2016.
