Islamabad: (RightNow) According to the Global Firepower Index, the joint military strength of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey has become prominent following the Mecca Defense Pact.

The index states that this agreement is not just defensive but an effort to unite military powers in partnership. Collectively, these three nations have 1.4 million active military personnel.

Additionally, they possess 3,415 military aircraft, 6,046 tanks, and 344 naval assets. Pakistan, with 660,000 personnel, is a nuclear-capable nation.

Turkey has 192 naval assets and a strong defense industry. Saudi Arabia’s annual defense budget is $63.9 billion.

It is noteworthy that this agreement was signed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
