Lahore: (RightNow) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made an unannounced visit to Allama Iqbal International Airport. He instructed FIA officials to deny travel to those with incomplete travel documents.

The Interior Minister stated that modern technology has facilitated immigration processes. He emphasized strict action against those traveling with fake documents, while ensuring that travelers with complete documents will not be stopped.

Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the immigration process at the airport and questioned the staff about the procedures. He also inquired from travelers about the time taken for immigration.

Travelers reported that immigration took 30 minutes. The Interior Minister directed to expedite the immigration process and to open all counters.

It is noteworthy that a traveler complained about an agent demanding money, prompting the Interior Minister to order immediate action.
