Ukrainian drone strikes in Moscow region kill 5, down 320 drones, says Russia.
Moscow: (RightNow) According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian drone strikes have resulted in the deaths of 5 individuals in the Moscow region. The Russian air defense system has reportedly downed 320 drones during these attacks.
The ministry stated that the attacks persisted from 8 PM on August 3 to 8 AM on August 4. Drones were downed in Belgorod, Bryansk, and other areas.
Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported intense strikes in the Chekhov district. A fire broke out in the industrial area of Novoselki, causing damage to several locations.
All injured individuals are receiving medical assistance. A logistics center in the Leningrad region was also attacked, resulting in a fire.
It is noteworthy that tensions between Russia and Ukraine have escalated in recent months. The conflict between the two countries has been ongoing for several years.
