Tank: (RightNow) A cowardly terrorist attack on a joint police checkpoint in Tank resulted in the martyrdom of 15 security personnel. In retaliation, security forces killed 12 terrorists.

According to ISPR, the terrorists rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the checkpoint. The attack claimed the lives of 12 military personnel, 2 police officers, and a forestry department official.

Security forces continue sanitization operations in the area. These operations will persist to eliminate terrorism. The sacrifices of the soldiers strengthen our resolve.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack and paid tribute to the martyrs. He praised the security forces for sending 12 terrorists to hell.

It is noteworthy that Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan also condemned the attack and lauded the sacrifices of the martyrs. He expressed determination to eradicate terrorism from the country.
