Gold prices in Pakistan drop by Rs 4,600 due to global market changes, affecting silver prices as well.
Karachi: (RightNow) Significant reductions in gold and silver prices have been observed in gold markets. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold per tola has decreased by Rs 4,600, reaching Rs 427,436. The price of 10 grams of gold has fallen by Rs 3,944, now standing at Rs 366,457.
Silver prices have also dropped by Rs 61, bringing the per tola price to Rs 6,309. Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold per ounce has decreased by $46, settling at $4,050.
Government agencies report that these price reductions are due to changes in the global market. The decrease in gold prices is expected to boost sales among jewelers.
This reduction is good news for gold buyers, as it is anticipated to increase jewelry purchases due to the lower prices.
It is noteworthy that changes in gold prices in the international market often impact the Pakistani market, causing fluctuations in prices.
